Here an very sad case of neglect, within the Ghanaian society, over many, many years! - This girl living nearly all her life within a very small, and dirty room. That is where her mother, and family members placed her. She has an younger and not disabled brother. The mother has no or little income, the same as the family. They where left actually alone, with an daily task, of cleaning, giving him the little food available. She was partly paralyzed in early years, her movement was more than limited. As you may see! Due her disability, she is being often bordered out, even by family. As we found her, we worked with an other charity in Bolgatanga, together, to give her and her mother and brother a bit more life, if not compared, to before, some quality of life!

Disabled people in Ghana still have to live on the edge of the society, with little or no support by the government of Ghana, often no support by their family, and with limitedd support by NGO in Ghana. There is so much need, that usually the NGO`s are not able to help all of them
