Kwasi (he died mid of 2014, in the age of just 23) - He was living nearly all his life within a small hut, family members placed him. His mother died some years ago, due HIV. She left behind, left 2 sisters with him. One of the sisters, the older one supported hims, as much, she could, but left later on to Kumasi (Ashanti region of Ghana), for work. He was left with his younger sister, which had the daily task, of cleaning, giving him the little food available. As he was partly paralyzed in early years, his movement was more than limited. As we found him, we worked with an other charity (Afri Kids) in Bolgatanga, together, to give him a bit more basic life, if not compared, to before, some quality of life!

Disabled people in Ghana still have to live on the edge of the society, with little or no support by the government of Ghana, often no support by their family, and with limitedd support by NGO in Ghana. There is so much need, that usually the NGO`s are not able to help all of them
